Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains which personal data Colony Tycoon processes, why, and what rights you have. We only collect what the game and the website need to work.

1. Data controller

The controller is Andrés Morón Campanario, tax ID 44199704Y. You can contact us about privacy at info@vdocks.com.

2. What data we process and why

  • Launch list: your email address and language, to tell you when the game opens. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Spam protection: on the Notify me form, Google reCAPTCHA analyses your IP address, browser data and how you use the page to tell people from bots. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply.
  • Account: username, email address, password (stored encrypted) and language. Legal basis: the contract you accept by registering.
  • Game: your colony, its progress and the actions you take in it. Legal basis: providing the game you asked for.
  • Game log: a record of the requests your colony makes to the server, kept for 90 days to fix errors, balance the game and detect cheating. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a fair, working game.
  • Purchases: what you bought, when and the amount. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us. Legal basis: the purchase contract and our tax obligations.
  • Security: IP address and technical data of each request, to protect the service against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe.

3. How long we keep it

Launch list data until the launch announcement is sent or until you unsubscribe. Account and game data while your account is active. The game log, 90 days. Purchase data, for the period required by tax law.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. Only these providers process it on our behalf: the hosting provider of our servers, Stripe (payments), Google (reCAPTCHA, to protect the Notify me form against spam) and, once advertising is enabled, Google also for ads (see the advertising page). Some of them may process data outside the European Union, always with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

5. Your rights

You can access, rectify or erase your data, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@vdocks.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the authority of your country.

6. Minors

The game is intended for people aged 14 and over. Purchases by minors require the consent of their parents or guardians.

7. Changes

We will update this policy when the way we process data changes, for example when advertising is enabled. The date at the top shows the latest version.
